🇩🇪 Die Bundesregierung plant zum 1. Dezember 2023 eine annähernde Verdopplung der Maut für Euro 6-Lkw (+ 83%), obwohl damit noch keine Klima-Lenkungswirkung erzielt wird.
Denn: E-Lkw, Wasserstoff-Lkw sowie Tank- und Ladeinfrastruktur fehlen größtenteils.
Statement
Unser Unternehmen und unser Verband sprechen sich zwar grundsätzlich für eine CO2-Mautreform aus, lehnen jedoch die konkrete Form der Umsetzung durch den vorliegenden Gesetzentwurf ausdrücklich ab.
Mit dem Gesetzentwurf verdoppelt die Bundesregierung die Lkw-Maut nahezu und belastet Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft mit jährlich ca. 7,62 Mrd. Euro zusätzlich.
Die Mauterhöhung verspricht keine Lösungen für die Zukunft, sondern wird zum Inflationstreiber für die Gesellschaft.
Wir sind bereit über konkrete Lösungen mit der Politik zu sprechen. Die massive Erhöhung zum 1. Dezember 2023 lehnen wir ausdrücklich ab und fordern einen fundierteren und stufenweisen Plan. Zumal bereits größere Erhöhungsschritte gemacht wurden in den vergangenen 3 Jahren.
🇬🇧 The German government is planning to almost double the toll for Euro 6 trucks (+ 83%) by 1 December 2023, even though this will not yet have a climate-reducing effect.
This is because e-trucks, hydrogen trucks and refuelling and charging infrastructure are largely lacking.
Statement
Although our company and our association are in favour of a CO2 toll reform in principle, we expressly reject the concrete form of its implementation through the present draft law.
With the draft law, the Federal Government is almost doubling the HGV toll and imposing an additional annual burden of around 7.62 billion euros on the economy and society.
The toll increase does not promise any solutions for the future, but will become a driver of inflation for society.
We are ready to discuss concrete solutions with politicians. We expressly reject the massive increase on 1 December 2023 and demand a more well-founded and gradual plan. Especially as larger increases have already been made in the past 3 years.
